Salt Lake City has many outdoor parks where you can host an event or party. We have compiled the best ones for you to rent spaces and utilize free space for your event.
Jordan Park
This 33 acre park sits close to downtown Salt Lake City. It hosts the International Peace Gardens and has a playground and sports fields. You can rent a pavilion or sports fields at this link. The green spaces are free to use as well.

Sugar House Park
This beautiful park is between downtown and I-80. It has a fountain and river running through it with mountain views. The park is 110 acres of pure outdoor enjoyment. You can reserve one of the pavilions or sports fields at the following link. You can even have a wedding in the park!!

Sunnyside Park
This big park is east of time on the way to the mountains. There are 8 sports fields, a volleyball court, and pavilions available to rent. You can find the link to their website here. Most of the green areas are free to use when and however you want.

West Valley City Park
West of town is this large 27 acre park, which neighbors Salt Lake City. The park has fields, pavilions, picnic areas with grills, and a sledding hill. Find more info about this park at this link. Google reviews site the cleanliness of the park.

Cottonwood Park
With a playground, basketball & volleyball courts, and a pavilion with picnic tables, this park has it all. You can find the rental info here. There is a lovely river knifing through the park as well as a dog off leash area. Just be aware, the google reviews site drug usage issues in the park.

Winchester Park
Our final park is well south of downtown but has all of the necessary amenities. The main pavilion occupies 100 people, has 2 grills, and 12 tables. A full day rental for non residents is $100 and you can find more info here.
